Frequently asked

How do we connect our accounts?
One partner creates a space in Orbit, then shares the invite code it generates. The other partner enters that code on their first launch — and you're in the same orbit. Two people per space, always.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent for your personal data. Shared content you co-created may remain with your partner.
How do Apple Health permissions work?
Fitness and sleep features ask for read-only Apple Health access (steps, walking distance, workouts, active energy, sleep). Health data is read on your device and only aggregate numbers are saved to your private space. You can change permissions anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health. Orbit never writes to Apple Health.
What do I need for the Apple Watch features?
An Apple Watch on watchOS 10 or later, paired with the iPhone that has Orbit installed. Open the Watch app on your iPhone to install Orbit on the watch. Heartbeats send even when your phone is far away, as long as the watch has a connection.
Subscriptions & restoring purchases
Orbit Plus is billed through your Apple ID (monthly, annual, or one-time lifetime) and covers both partners in your space. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. If Plus isn't showing after a reinstall or new phone, use Settings → Orbit Plus → Restore Purchases in the app.
My partner can't see something I added
Make sure both phones are on the latest version of Orbit — features sync between versions, but new ones need both sides updated. A pull-to-refresh (or reopening the app) fetches the latest space state.
Notifications aren't arriving
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Orbit is allowed, and in-app Settings → Notifications for per-feature toggles. Focus modes and Low Power Mode can delay delivery. Love-taps and heartbeats also appear the next time your partner opens the app, so nothing is ever lost.
